Hi, we’re Ian and David – childhood friends, business partners, and co-founders of Hemp Everything. We both grew up in upstate New York, which also happens to be the site of our Hemp Everything store.
As the name suggests, Hemp Everything is all about the wonderful world of hemp. We sell a large variety of hemp products. At Hemp Everything, you’ll find hemp pretzels called “hempzels,” hemp honey, hemp seeds, and hemp apparel, including our very popular Hemp Everything T-shirts and shoes.
Established in 2019, Hemp Everything is more than just a hemp store.
Our brick and mortar location also serves as an educational space where guest speakers come weekly to talk about hemp and CBD. The reason behind these talks is that there’s currently a lot of confusion regarding hemp and CBD.
Unfortunately, the misleading marketing practices of some brands selling hemp products is partly to blame for this, which is why we’ve made it our mission to enlighten people with the help of trusted industry experts. This way, a better educated public could easily see beyond the marketing and make better buying decisions.
We got into hemp because it's greener and better for the environment than other options. It's also more environmentally friendly than cotton. And it’s strange that we’re only discovering this now because hemp has been extensively used by humans for thousands of years.
Through history until today, we use it for making the following:
Hemp is also used for soil and water purification through a process called phytoremediation.
Hemp is also a nutritional powerhouse. Its seeds are highly nutritious food sources. They are rich in fiber and protein, as well as dietary minerals (manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc and iron), amino acids and essential fatty acids, including omega-3 and omega-6.
It’s also from cold-pressed hemp seeds that we get hemp seed oil. Cannabidiol or CBD, on the other hand, is extracted from the flowers and leaves where beneficial phytocannabinoids are found. Both hemp seed oil and CBD are beneficial in different ways.
So, hemp is certainly one of the most useful plants known to humankind, which is why we’re so passionate about the benefits of hemp and CBD.
